Someone once said that Heather Mills is the best thing that could ever have happened to Yoko Ono. And in a way that is so true. Yoko has gotten so much more respect as a "Beatle wife" since Paul married and divorced Heather. But still...I would guess that the two most unpopular Beatles wife / ex-wife would be Heather Mills followed by Yoko Ono. I would be excited to meet Yoko especially because she was there during the Beatles time and even sings on some Beatles songs! I would want a photo with Heather Mills, because she WAS married to a Beatle and has an adorable child with him, but it wouldn't excite me too much.....
Poor John was shot just behind where they stand.
ReplyDeleteNotice how John is facing Yoko on the tee shirt.

I have been returning to this page frequently, because the observations from jOjO really are quite thought-provoking. It is fascinating that a seemingly ordinary photograph, such as this, carries these extra layers of meaning. Such is the power of the Fabs, I suppose.
ReplyDeletecan see why Paul said he was attracted to Heather by this photo - she is hot
ReplyDeleteyeah she is and he loved it when he first saw her

ReplyDeleteJohn was actually shot after walking through the entrance to the Dakota but very close to where they are standing. Heather impressed me with her animal rights campaign. I felt that was one of the reasons she attracted Paul in addition to her good looks. Poor Paul was still grieving for Linda and she got him on the rebound. Beatrice was the prize for Paul from that union.
ReplyDeleteHaven't been able to walk by the Dakota since John's passing and that location is used in many films & it still disturbs me when I see it; and to 11:14, good points re: Heather & Beatrice...NYC64
