I would guess that being the child of one of the Beatles isn't the easiest thing in the world. You would always have to wonder if people wanted to get to know you just because your Dad was a Beatle. The "Beatle kids" seemed to have handled every pretty well. Here are some photos of a few Beatles kids taken by fans.
I think that first photo of Sean is actually with his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl, isn't it? (I mean, she might be a fan as well! But that's probably not the best way to refer to her, lol.)
ReplyDeleteDhani is so cute.
I don't think so, because the photo was posted on flickr by someone who said under the photo that she wsa so excited to meet Sean Lennon and stuff that a fan would say. Although now that you mention it, the girl does look like his girlfriend...interesting...
ReplyDeleteYou know what....maybe the fan took the photo of Sean and his girlfriend....that is a thought...
ReplyDeleteYes, that is indeed Charlotte Kemp.
ReplyDeleteIt is tough for them, but I have to say, in regards to the ones that have opted to go into songwriting and performing....it would help them if they didn't write in the same idiom as their fathers. Both Sean and Julian sound uncannily like John....and it is only compounded by the fact that their music often intentionally evokes their father's work, right down to the echo used on the voice, or the medium tempos (with Ringo-esque drumming)...... it looks like Dhani is totally embracing the comparisons, and I do have sympathy for John's kids (and Paul's son), but they don't help themselves by dressing like Beatles and evoking their fathers in their music.
