I have never been much of a fan of the Magical Mystery Tour film. I like the music video for the songs in it, but the movie itself, well I just don't GET it. I find myself "Fast forwarding" to the songs. I think the Beatles made the film way too soon after the death of Brian Epstein. Brian hadn't even been gone a month and they were jumping head first into this huge project without anyone to guide them. But that is just my opinion. However....the music is great and the four guys were looking good in September of 1967. So even though the movie itself isn't something I like to look at very often, I do enjoy these fan photos from the making of the film.
There isn’t really anything to GET about the film. It’s silly and you just have to watch it and enjoy the humour about it. I personally love the movie, I just bought it in October. (: And these are lovely photos! I’m just in love with Paul’s sweater vests and kaftans!
