A wonderful reader of this blog, Cláudia, emailed me the other day with the photo right above this of George in Brazil in 1979. It was February 4, 1979 at the Formula One race to be exact. Cláudia also sent me a link about George's trip and the photos. I used a translator and basically got from the article that the photographer was assigned to interview the race car drivers' girlfriend and wives and ended up meeting and photographing George Harrison who was there. George sure loved racing. That was something I never would have guessed of George.....
