Posing with a fan

George and Pat Kinzer (president of the George Harrison fan club) Photo taken from her book called Do you want to know a secret

John and Lizzie (who posts on this blog and elsewhere!) in 1967

In the 1970's John Lennon was heard telling fans that they could snap as many photos of him as they liked, but he was not going to pose for any pictures. This makes sense to me and I do not blame any of the Beatles for having this stance. Not a whole lot of Beatles fan photos are posed shots with one or two fans standing next to the Beatle. Many are candid shots with fans trying to sneak into the photo. But here are photos of a few of the lucky ones that snagged posed photos with a Beatle.

  2. Hi, the second photo in this batch is of Paul on i 'think' boxing day 1975, it was taken at Lee Eastmans house on Long Island and i think this may have been the same day that Paul and Linda visited John and Yoko at the Dakota, if not the same day then very close, Greg xoxo
