I have no clue who she is or what her story on meeting the Beatles goes. I just know that I like her. Having collected Beatles photographs for over 10 years now, I have gotten familiar with some of the people in Beatles photos. And one of this is the fan who is seen in these pictures. I especially love the one where she is with Paul and she has her Sgt. Pepper album in hand to be signed. Anyone know who she is and how she ended up meeting the Beatles?
she is british, her name is maureen and we have been friends since i arrived in london in early 1967 - a very nice lady indeed! she still sees paul frequently. the blonde in the second photo is also a friend, lucy, and the one behind her, if i'm not mistaken, is jean. the blonde on the 4th photo is gayleen, another friend - we both sang back-up on "across the universe". i met some really great people while in london, both british and from several other countries, that's for sure! and i'm still in touch with many of them, 42 years later.
