Maybe I am wrong, but it seem like it was a little more difficult to meet a Beatle in the 1980's. It is very understandable why after the awful events of December 8, 1980 why the remaining three Beatles would not be as comfortable around their fans as they had been in the past. Although Paul was frequently spotted at Air Studios in London in the 1980's. Still...1980's fan photos aren't easy to locate.
