Many fans have no so nice things to say about George's 1974 concert tour of North America. I know that George was losing his voice, changed lyrics to classic Beatles songs and made fans sit through long ragas, but come on people it was George Harrison! He never returned to North America for a concert tour again so take what you can get! Here are some fan concert photos from the tour.
I think he put together an amazing band for that tour! I sometimes think it was the critics, more than the fans, at least initially. In all the boots I've heard, the crowd seems happy. I loved the "My Sweet Lord" arrangement, and if I was sitting at a George Harrison concert - and he started playing "In My Life", lyric change or not, I would have evaporated into a state of ecstasy!
