I wasn't expecting to hear that John Travolta joined Ringo Starr and the All Starr Band on stage to sing "With a Little Help From My Friends" in Florida recently.   

Loss of a friend

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Kelly Preston.   Like Mary McCartney, Linda McCartney, and millions of others around the world, Kelly lost her battle with breast cancer.   Condolences go out especially to John Travolta who sadly has now entered the widowed world.  And also to Paul and Nancy, as I understand they were friends with John and Kelly.


Let me take this opportunity to remind the ladies out there that are over the age of 40 to get your yearly mammogram.   To both men and women -- if you notice anything odd or different going on in your body, do not put it off.  Please go get advice from a doctor.
