Beatle family photos

This has to be one of my all time favorite photos of Ringo and Paul

June 20, 2006

Twenty years ago the Love Show premiered and there was a huge Beatles family reunion.  Of course as far as I am concerned the Beatles family is a very large one that includes many amazing people -- some of them are pictured here.

It's a Girl!

In an interview recently released with Oliva Harrison but recorded in October 2025, she announces that she is the Grandmother of a beautiful baby girl!  Congratulations are in order for Dhani Harrison and his significant other, Mereki Beach.  Blessings to the entire Harrison/Beach familes.

December 28. 1990

Two former Beatles jetted off to America yesterday, and it was easy to spot the difference. Talkative. Paul McCartney could hardly stop nattering about his plans, but George Harrison, the group's quiet one,  didn't say a word.

Paul, 48, rushed to Concorde with his wife Linda and three children, saying, "We're going to New York to do  a few bits and pieces this and that, you know, the sort of thing."  He chatted about his oratorio to be performed in Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral in June. "It's going great!"  He mentioned his next album. "We'll be recording it in Britain", and he wondered about another tour. "We may go on the road again!"

Within hours, George, 47, was leaving the same airport, Heathrow, for Los Angeles, but he kept a strict silence as he headed for his flight with wife Olivia and son Dhani, 11, clearly a hush-hush trip.

Baby You're a Star

April 14, 2009 -

On this date, George Harrison received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  I recall at the time feeling a little put off that George kept receiving awards after his death.  Why couldn't they have given him a star on the Walk of Fame during his lifetime?

Anyhow -- a lot of famous people showed up for the unveiling of the star.  Besides Oliva and Dhani, Paul was also there (no sign of Ringo though).  Also present was Joe Walsh, Tom Hanks, Eric Idle, Tom Petty,  and Jeff Lynne.
