It's Ringo's Birthday -- Peace and Love!

 












Peace and Love!  

I thought it would be fun to post a photo of Ringo flashing a peace sign for every decade since the 1960s.  However -- I could not find a peace sign photo of Ringo from the 1970s.  That can't be right! I found pictures from the 70s of Ringo giving a backwards two fingers but not a peace sign, so if you ever see one, please send it my way. 

Anyhow--- here is wishing Ringo Starr the best 85th birthday anyone could ever have!  Peace and Love!

    The first photo is Ringo with a cigar, channeling Winston Churchill's victory sign. I think the peace and love thing came after he got sober in the 80's.

    Happy Birthday Ringo and many many more to you. It's wonderful to still have him with us after his illnesses the last few years.
