Cold Feet

On August 5th, 1972, this picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono holding our Amy was taken at the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco. I asked Mr. Lennon if we could snap the pic; his cameraman said, NO!, but Yoko said, “We have time.” Cold and windy that day, Yoko held Amy’s feet to keep them warm!

Interesting article about their day-long visit to SF on Google: “John Lennon in SF for the day, 1972.”
BTW: the LAST pic in our yellow Kodak disposable camera!!

Baby Face

On the roof with Ringo

If you are curious about these photos -- then feel free to read the story that goes along with them about the fan named Cindy who won a contest to meet Ringo and gift him a door.

Hanging out with Harry

 Photos taken by Cindy Rebello

During the time of the March of Dimes Marathon in 1974, John and Harry were staying at the Plaza Hotel (as known due to the "Beatlefest" back story).  I wonder if these photos were taken there.

Sweet Kisses

Early McCartney family

Paul posted this photo to celebrate his Dad's birthday.   It is assumed that the baby Mary McCartney is holding little Paul himself, but he never state that it is him.   And it could be a family member, but I want to believe this is a lovely family photo.

Valentine's with the Beatles

February 14, 1963 -  You get to see The Beatles in concert and get a free gift?   I'm there!

An a second generation Beatle Fan is born

Baby Love

George Harrison with Hayley , the daughter of photographer William Coupon

The kid is not my son

This lady handed Paul her baby to hold for a photo.   But with all of the paternity talk going on in 1964,  I am not sure how smart it was for Paul to pose for photos with babies.

Luckiest baby of the week winner

photos by  Sebastian Alappat

Congratulations goes to Arya who wins the luckiest baby contest for this week.   Her prize is hearing all about how she grabbed Paul McCartney's finger and how he made her laugh for the rest of her life.

If these photos don't just melt your heart---then go visit another blog for awhile.

Two girlfriends

Here is a pairing that you don't often see photograph of:  May Pang and Linda McCartney!

Another lucky baby

Aloha Ringo

That random baby is totally photo bombing the photo.

So much younger than today

Here is a cutie-pie baby picture of Sean Lennon! Ahhhh!

Fans in Pepper suits

If you are the type of Beatle fan that owns and wears a Sgt. Pepper suit, then this post is NOT for you. Not that I hate the Sgt. Pepper suit or even people owning them. But whenever I see people wearing them, I just cringe a little inside. They just seem so cliche. Like wearing those pointy ears at a Star Trek convention. The fact of the matter is that the Beatles themselves only wore those suits on two occasions (the Sgt. Pepper album cover photo shoot and the Hello Goodbye promo shoot). I think it would be so much cooler to show up at a Beatles convention wearing the a replica of Paul's "Joker" jacket or one of the outfits we saw the guys wear on a regular occasion. To me, the Sgt. Pepper suit is just a little too over the top. And that is part of the reason why this photo really was sweet to me. Paul overlooked the fans wearing those crazy Pepper suits and kissed their baby! He knows that they are going to make a little baby-sized orange Pepper suit and matching hat for the kid as soon as he/she starts to walk, (notice their older child in the pink suit!) and he doesn't seem to even care about this craziness! Paul McCartney kissed their baby! How many parents can say that? How many kids can grow up telling their friends, "yeah Paul McCartney kissed me. My folks were wearing crazy Sgt. Pepper suits and everything....but yeah....smooch by Paul....beat that!" McCartney kissed Their baby! How many parents can say that? How many Kids Can Grow Up Their telling friends, "yeah Paul McCartney kissed me. My folks Were Sgt Pepper wearing crazy suits and everything .... but yeah .... smooch by Paul .... beat that!"

Funny photo

I don't think this is a "fan photo" at all and I am totally stretching it here, but that is ok. I have always seen this photograph cropped. I never have seen this lovely early Beatles photo with someone holding their baby up to be in the picture! How funny is that? "Here let me get my baby in there with you fellows" I would guess that was taken January 1964 in France if I was forced to guess.
