Let's hear it for Eppy

These are the last photographs that I am aware of that show Brian Epstein with members of the Beatles.    I like these photos because Brian seems relaxed and happy around the guys.     I am sure he was proud of the Beatles during the recording of "All you need is love."

Session Men

Paul with some of the musicians who played with him on Run Devil Run

A French horn jam session.   Really I have no idea, but I like Paul's casual look a big smile in this photo.

Rocky Raccoon? Part 2

A big, huge thanks goes out to Bruno for sending me this photo. Bruno has been a wonderful contributor to the Beatles day by day forum. He recently sent me this photo of Paul holding the accordion. Now when I first saw this photo, I thought to myself, "Great! Bruno sent me a better and larger copy of the accordion photo I recently posted!" But that is incorrect. This photo is actually a different photo. It is taken from a different angle and Paul has a different look on his face. Still no word if this was the accordion used on the song, Rocky Raccoon, but seriously.....why wouldn't it have been???

Rocky Raccoon?

I located a "new" Paul McCartney fan photo online. The photo and the caption are from a Russian Beatles page. To my surprise, the person who posted it, posted this comment in English!

The fan photo was snapped on the 13th of August 1968 by a 18 year old Beatles fan Egil Gjerde, and speculation is that this might be the accordion from "Rocky Raccoon" on The Beatles (White Album). The song was recorded August 15th. The accordion player on Rocky Raccoon has never been documented, maybe this is the one!

It is a really neat photo because you don't always see Paul McCartney leaving Cavendish holding an accordion!
