And this photo didn't seem to surface until about 5 years ago. Why do some alternate shots take years to surface if ever at all? Like the Rubber Soul album cover. I'm still waiting for alternate shots from that session. It took me about 50 years to see an alternate photo from the August 1964 LIFE Magazine cover to see another photo fro. that session. So different from the glum, serious looking photo that ended up on the cover of Life. Another side of the "happy families" that eventually came to be.

ReplyDeleteIs the date correct? Paul had fuller stubble/light beard in Sept 69 and by November a fairly thick one
