January 19, 1977 - John and Yoko go to Washington D.C. and attend the Inaugural Gala for Jimmy Carter. This was a televised event held the night before the actual presidential inauguration. Notice that John is NOT wearing a black shirt, but a WHITE shirt with the black bow tie.
