A lovely blog viewer, Andrea, sent me along this scan from the German edition of the Hunter Davies biography. The caption with the photo reads, "Fan photo, sent to the Beatles for a change, with best wishes from Irene" Can you even start to fathom that Irene there with her huge smile actually had a copy of the Please Please Me album autographed by all four Beatles?
