Ringo had a relationship with Stephanie LaMotta in 1979. Basically, he was on yet another break from Nancy, met Stephanie at a bar, and asked her to go on a whirlwind trip with him to Austria and Greece, which she did. He told her that he was "in like" with her.
The only photo that seems to be out there of the two of them is this one that I scanned from a Beatles fanzine in 2011. Ringo and Stephanie didn't have a long relationship, and I never read anything else about it until I found this article about Stephanie in a newspaper from 1991. I did not reprint the entire article, just the part about Ringo.

Stephanie LaMotta, a spokeswoman for MS, was stricken with the disease 12 years ago on a trip to Austria and Greece with her then-boyfriend, ex-Beatle Ringo Starr. It was Starr who made the crucial decision to fly LaMotta back to New York immediately.
"Ringo thought a vacation was in order, so we went to Vienna. Then all of Ringo's friends showed up in Vienna, and it began to be one long party. We wanted a quiet time together. Ringo and I left for Greece alone. By the time we got to Greece, my hands started to fail. My fingers wouldn't move properly on my guitar. I picked up a glass, and it fell out of my hands, crashing on the floor. My left side seemed paralyzed. I lost my coordination. I was totally blind.
"Ringo cut the vacation short. We flew back to London that day, so that I could get my instrument, my music, and my clothes. Ringo said, 'You're flying to New York now for medical treatment today,' and I said, 'Tomorrow.'
"We had a terrible row. I told him I needed time to pack. Ringo can put two shirts in a suitcase and leave town immediately. He said, 'I don't care about your packing.' He pushed me on a plane to New York, and even had one of his friends come with me. My mother met me at the airport. I was in a wheelchair."
