Not in the NYC shirt

August 28, 1974 -  The same day Bob Gruen took the famous John wearing the New York City t-shirt, he also took this equally but not as famous shots of John.

    One of the T-shirts that John wore the most, from about 1972 to 1980, the Rolling Stones one (he also wore it in the photos for the cover of Double Fantasy). In the spite of those who claimed that there was a rivalry between the Beatles and the Stones!
