David Picker and the Beatles

In these photos the Beatles are backstage with David Picker, who was the man who signed the Beatles to a 3 movie deal with United Artist before they had ever made it big in the United States.  I can't really tell, but I would guess that the gold records they are holding are for their United Artist album, a Hard Day's Night.
