 March 12, 1969 - Linda and Paul's wedding day.  

A happy day for the McCartney family

 

September 26, 1998 -

What a bittersweet day this was for the McCartney family.    They came together to celebrate Mary's wedding day.   Paul walked his beautiful daughter down the aisle.  They arrived in the famous car that took Paul to the premiere of Yellow Submarine in 1968.    But there had to be a sad feeling that beautiful September day because it was the first big gathering after Linda's death.   I am sure she was deeply missing and tears were shed.

I have always been under the assumption that photos from George and Olivia's wedding were kept private and the public has never seen a photo from the day.    45 years later that photo, which was published in a newspaper the day after the wedding was shown on Facebook!   I wish it was in color -- I wish it wasn't so dark -- but I am thrilled to see a photo taken at their wedding after all these years!

After George and Pattie's wedding ceremony, they went back to Brian's place and had a little reception.  Here we have a few snapshots from the party.   Brian is talking to an unknown person and so is Pattie.

Zak Starkey married Sshh on their baby, Luna's 1st birthday.    Eddie Vedder was the best man at the wedding.
