Is the Wings tour bus making a return????
If you follow this blog, then you know that we have a love for the 1972 Wings tour bus. What is there not to love? It is painted in crazy colors, rumored to have been painted by Paul McCartney himself and has an open top where Paul and his family along with the members Wings at the time used to hang out and "chill."
Over the years, we saw it listed on Craigslist and sitting in a dump. But now--- there is a bit of hope that it might be returning! Paul McCartney's twitter account posted this today:
Say what?? There is a rumor that the bus is back on the road? Do tell! Then Brian Ray posted some of these photos:
I don't know what is going on and by the looks of these photos, the bus is in sad shape, but could still be fixed up. I know it isn't as important as the Magical Mystery tour bus, but it is an important historical bus in Paul McCartney history. It needs to be fixed up and on display at a museum like the Rock n Roll Hall of fame (or some place like that --- I am not picky). I just hate to think of it rusting away in a landfill when it could make a lot of us fans happy to take photos in front of it.

Goodbye Henry
Sad to hear of the passing of Henry McCullough today. He was an amazing guitar player and key member of early Wings. I met him at the Fest for Beatle fans in 2012 and I thought I had him sign something for me, but I alas I must not have because I couldn't find anything with his name on it. When I think of Henry, I think of him on the James Paul McCartney TV special playing "Big Barn Bed." where we learn that he favorite color is green (naturally) and that he hates getting up early and filling out questionnaires. He will be missed!
