Ringo rocks the odd socks
Ringo posted this yesterday: Peace, Love and Odd Socks - I'm wearing these in support of #OddSocksDay to celebrate individuality and Unite Against Bullying
#Thekidsareunited #Unitedagainstbullying #antibullyingweekAs someone that was bullied in middle/high school for being a Beatles fan (among a million other reasons), I appreciate Ringo standing up against bullying. I also like to wear mismatched socks, just because I am strange and now I will just say it is because I am against bullies.
Side note: I will never get enough posts about Beatle member's socks.

John's socks
How many rock stars take off their socks and auction them on the spot for charity? John was one of a kind.

The truly lovely Linda
March 22, 1978
I LOVE the knee socks! Linda's style was not appreciated very much in the 1970's, but today I look at it and admire her for wearing the funky styles that she did.

John in Philly 1975

One of my favorite stories about a Beatle and fans is when John Lennon participated in a fundraiser in Philadelphia, PA in 1975 at a radio station. He took an Amtrack train from NYC to Philly and stayed there for 3 days raising money for the Helpinng Hands marathon. He even took his socks right off of his feet and auctioned them off! (I really wonder what ever came of those socks?). The cool thing is that the radio station welcomed fans to come and see John in person, and from the stories I have been told, John was extremely kind and funny towards everyone he met. I love these photos because John seems so happy and relaxed.
