My favorite concert

 February 11, 1964 -

I love everything about this concert.  The energy, Ringo's drum issues, Mal coming out to turn the drums, the jellybeans, the screams, the fact it starts with Roll Over Beethoven.   LOVE this concert.  I mean -- what is there NOT to love about it?   

Any reader out there see this concert in person?   Or how about seeing it during the Closed Circuit showing at the movies?  

Paul stepped on this jelly bean!

For the next week or so I am going to be sharing some of the interesting photos I took at Beatlefest this year.   Here is something I spotted that was for sale (I didn't ask the price).   But it made me laugh.  A fan in 1965 picked up a jelly bean that was stepped on by Paul and kept it.  And here it is 2012 and that Jelly Bean still survives.  She also has the room key holder for the room where the Beatles were staying in the hotel.    Great stuff for a laugh.
