I LOVE LOVE LOVE this photo.   I wish I knew the exact date of it.   Nancy looks so stunning and John looks amazing.   (And Ringo and Yoko are looking good as well).   What a shock to have seen these two couples walking down a street in New York City one night.

Pattie Daily's photos up for auction

A little over a year ago, Jessie Davis' former girlfriend, Pattie showed off her photo album of  snapshots of the Beatles (mostly Ringo and John) in the mid-1970's.  I talked about it here.  Well I knew that we would see these photos again somehow, and they are currently up for auction through Julien's auction .  Some really great photos!

Amsterdam Hilton.....Ringo

I have no information about this photo right now. I know that I don't recall reading about Ringo ever being at the Amsterdam Hilton, but then when we think of that hotel, John is the Beatle that comes to mind. I am pretty sure that the lady on Ringo's right is Nancy Andrews but I have no idea who the other woman is. A fan maybe???

Ringo at the Grammies

You might have seen Ringo on the Grammy awards tonight. If you want to see some photos from tonight, please go here. I have here some photos from when Ringo (along with Nancy Andrews) were at the Grammy awards in 1977. I believe these are more along the lines of paparazzi photos than fan photos, but the last one could go either way.

I was scanned some photos out of Nancy Andrew's book tonight and just thought this photo was beautiful. It isn't a fan photo, but I just loved it too much not to share it. It is Nancy and Ringo at Disneyland and they had just bought hats at a store on Main Street U.S.A.

Beatles back Together? Rare meeting may lead to something big

Paul and Linda McCartney were strolling down New York's Fifth Avenue after dropped their children off at the circus. Coming out of the St. Regis Hotel were Ringo Starr and his girlfriend, Nancy Andrews. They spotted each other. Ringo yelled, "My God, what'd oing on here?" Paul replied, "Which way are you headed?" Ringo said, "Plaza, do you want to come along?" The couples linked arms and marched forth. At the Plaza Hotel a large group of people waited to see the Bay City Rollers rock group check in. They spotted the Beatles and a near riot followed. "Whew," said Ringo, ducking into a room, "never any peace." Later, it was a veritable Beatles swarm when Paul, Ringo and Jhn Lennon toured the night spots of the Big Apple, generating more crowds and eventually a rash of red-hot rumors that the Beatles were planning to get together again. One wild eveningn does not a record contract make, but the chances of reforming the rock group now seem better than ever. From London, the only left-out Beatle, George Harrison said, "I've never been the one who was against us getting together again. I think it might be just great to have the group together again."

So okay....where are the photos of John, Ringo and Paul hitting the New York night spots? You can't tell me that NO ONE a fan or a press person took at least one photo of this event???

Nancy Andrews is a name that many Beatle fans either aren't familar with or if they know who she is, they have a dislike for her. Nancy Lee Andrews was Ringo Starr's former girlfriend and fiancee from 1975-1980. Why do so many dislike her? After Ringo left her for Barbra in 1980, Nancy sued Ringo in a very public battle for palamony. I personally dont' think she was a gold digger. The woman lived with Ringo and he started to cheat on her with Barbara. I think Ringo did owe her a little something to get herself back on her feet again. But that is just me. Anyhow....I met Nancy at Beatlefest this past summer (see photo) and I was amazed by her beauty and charm. She gave me wonderful advice that I will be eternally thankful for. Nancy took some candid photos of Ringo that I will be posting, but first I wanted everyone to know who she is.
