A Special Easter Treat
I want to wish all of the readers of Meet the Beatles...for Real a very happy Easter, or just a happy Sunday if you don't celebrate.
Traditionally I take this day off from blogging to spend time with family. Tonight I am taking the day off to spend time with James McCartney.

Have a happy Easter!
Dear Beatles friends,
It is my favorite time of year once again....Easter! A lot of people love Christmas and the Christmas season, but I adore Easter and the beginning of spring. Being a born again Christian, I celebrate Easter because it is the most important day in my beliefs. I enjoy spending the day at church. I love the worship service as well as seeing all the adorable children dressed in their new Easter dresses and suits. But it is also my favorite time to refresh your life. Things just seem brighter and cleaner at Easter to me. And I desperately need some refreshing in my life at this moment. I am on "spring break" at work for the next five days and I figured it would be a good idea for me to take a small break from the blog and many of my other online activities and enjoy my favorite holiday and the people in my life and not concern myself with the online world for a bit. I should be back to my regular schedule of rare and exciting Beatles photos by Wednesday.

Easter Eggs
I thought about saving this post until Easter-time, but then I figured that knowing me, I would forget about it by then. I found this on "The Gilly's" tumblr page and it cleared up some questions I had. You might have seen one of these photos of the Beatles coloring Easter Eggs with some random children and wonderful what the heck was going on. Well...it appears that the guys were taking a break from a Hard Day's Night to color eggs with some orphans. And the article gives us an exact date for the photos. The Thursday before Easter....looking at the calendar that means these photos are from March 26, 1964! I love love love finding out the exact dates of Beatles photos. I have to say that the whole thing seems a little odd, but then the guys were doing things for publicity during that time. Regardless, those kids had fun!
