The "Get Back" film has brought Mal Evans into the spotlight for the first time.   I am proud to say that all of us that are part of MTBFR have ALWAYS had Mal Evans in the spotlight and have always celebrated the great roadie and friend that he was.   He was an amazing friend to the Beatles and to the fans as well.  And he remains my choice for the 6th Beatle.   

Mal's sad passing happened 46 years ago today.   We will never allow to be forgotten.

You can't get more "Get Back" than this!  Heather (See) McCartney eating toast while sitting on the floor at in the Apple Studios.   You can almost hear the Beatles singing.....

Not quite Get Back Session

 These photos do not fit in with the January 1969 Get Back Sessions.    Does anyone know anything about this recording session?   What were they recording and when did it take place?

January 24, 1969 -  These are some of my favorite photos from the Get Back Sessions.   I do remember my first time seeing them, feeling a bit angry that Yoko was sitting there with the band as if she was a member.  But now I just appreciate the photos for what they are.

George's return to the Beatles

January 21, 1969 -   George didn't quit the Beatles forever, obviously.    Today 50 years ago the guitarist joined the band again with promises of recording at Apple instead of Twickenham and no big concert performances.
