Do you love the content you see here on Meet the Beatles...For Real?

Do you want to see more of it?

Are you a Beatles fan that understands the history and background of the band?

Do you have $4.00 you can spend a month?

Then Meet The Beatles...For Real 2.0 is for you!   It is a Patreon account run by me, Sara, and I post things that are a little more controversial about meeting the Beatles and being a Beatles fan. Stories that might not put the Beatles and/or their fans in the best light but historically fit into the entire story.   I also post super rare photographs and have contests and other rare content.

If this sounds like the place for you, then come join the fun!

    1. re 6/16 at 5:57 - seems a mindset to have Beatle fans now into 2 groups which are grade school and college; am glad to have been a fan since 64 where the clubs and fanzines (including the scruff mags) did not do this

    2. Give me a break. 99.9999999999999% of the content I put out I place on this site for free. It is the "college" class if you ask me. The other one has 14 people in it. That is it. It is not successful. Obviously it was a dumb idea. Joining MTBFR 2.0 does not make you a better Beatles fan. It is not an elite club. And the Scruffs magazine and fan club DID do this. You had to pay dues to get the information from them. So many Beatles outlets ask for membership dues back then and today. I have had MTBFR since 2009 completely free. I don't even have ads on it. One time I try to do something to make a little money on the side and it blows up in my face. "I said what I said and now it's all this..." (to paraphrase John Lennon).

    3. just read these and imo think it's not about the money to join but the attitude toward the fans.

    4. Laptop messing up so sending this again. Just read these comments and imo it isn't about paying dues at all but how the attitude toward "true" fans comes off.

  2. IT'S REALLY SIMPLY - JOIN UP OR DON'T. WE 1ST GEN WERE FORTUNATELY ABLE TO ACTUALLY LIVE THE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF THE BEATLES BUT IT'S NICE THAT OTHERS ARE INTERESTED.
