All we have is an occasional commentator in a Beatle book with 3rd hand info - - which no historian would trust. That's an example of how yesterday's fan is today's historian, so unless some 1st generation fans come forward, which is increasingly unlikely, or unless some journalist asks PM or RS (even less likely - - they usually haven't the wits to ask anything deeper than 'Is it true you dreamt "Yesterday"?' - - then I have to doubt it happened. It Could have, it's in character, but it's too speculative to trust without a fan's witnessing confirmation. And if it was witnessed, you'd think it would wind up in a Beatles fanzine. authorgaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10184781574549260000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7108119778215437215.post-36505046046252553322018-12-13T05:50:00.236-06:002018-12-13T05:50:00.236-06:00I wasn't there that particular day, or might h...I wasn't there that particular day, or might have arrived later on, but what I heard at the time was: because fans were ringing the bell, Paul stopped answering it. John and Yoko arrived, and the only way they could get in was for John to climb the gate and ring the front door bell. I never heard anything about bricks.Lizzie Bravohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07219518308643161665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7108119778215437215.post-76626640316311231182018-12-12T18:02:54.054-06:002018-12-12T18:02:54.054-06:00I have been on the look out for a story about that...I have been on the look out for a story about that for the past 10 years and have yet to read one. You would think a few bystanders would remember a moment like that. Not a word. authorgaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10184781574549260000noreply@blogger.com
