It is sort of difficult to kick off the 1965 tour stops with Shea Stadium because let's face it---we have all seen the Beatles at Shea Stadium film, so it isn't like there are huge surprises to share with you all with this particular concert. I just know that it would have been amazing to have been there and have seen John's performance during "I'm Down." If you want to learn everything there is to learn about the Beatles Shea Stadium concert, I highly recommend The book by Dave Schwensen called The Beatles at Shea Stadium .
of all the concerts Shea 1965 will remain special in my heart until the day I die - I would encourage anyone who hasn't seen at least a dvd of it to do so
