This photo confuses me at the moment. The man in the photograph is the person who posted the photo (so thanks!). And says labeled it "Yoko Ono, John Lennon, and me--Chicago 1971 (38 years ago). He also posts that the package in John's hand is a copy of Yoko's book, Grapefruit. Ummm...I don't recall John and Yoko going to Chicago in 1971. I also have a simlar photo where John is look more directly at the camera and the Beatle fan in the photo is cropped out (so it is now nice to see who was standing next to John). Regradless of the history of the photo, it is a nice posed fan shot.
Not a fan photo per say, but the guy on flickr that posted this photo borrowed the negative from the photographer, John de Rooy (who took this photo in 1969) and made copies for himself and then returned the negative. Sounds like a Beatles fan to me!! If you can't take a photo yourself, make copies!!!
I doubt this is a fan photo either, but I sure like it! LOL
Here is a tried and true fan photo. Given to a flickr member in a penpal trade in the 1980's. Marked on the back as "1968 5:30am" I guess to get these great fan photos, you had to live off little sleep...
A small photo of PaulI love the site, Flickr, because you can find all sorts of odd gems of photographs on there. Today I wasted a few hours finding some Beatles photos. Enjoy!
